The official website of the Glasgow & Clyde Valley Green Network

Clyde Gateway

Clyde Gateway covers an area of 3.3 sq. miles in the East End of Glasgow, including the existing communities of Bridgeton and Dalmarnock. Approximately 30% of this area is currently derelict, vacant or underused land.

The Green Network has a vital role to play in supporting regeneration of the Clyde Gateway and connecting the area with its surrounding communities. The Clyde Gateway Green Network will help create a new sense of place, enhancing the area’s attractiveness as a place to invest and improving the quality of life for both residents and those who come to work in the area. The Green Network will include new pedestrian and cycle routes, improve urban drainage, and bring biodiversity closer to where people live and work.
