Overview

Our aim is to make the Glasgow metropolitan region one of Europe’s most attractive places to live, work and play through the creation of a large functional Green Network connecting our quality spaces from Greenock to Lanark and Cumbernauld to East Kilbride.

The GCV Green Network Partnership provides the strategic framework for the co-ordinated action needed to facilitate delivery of the Green Network across the whole region.

Intended outcomes include: increasing the attractiveness of the region as a location for business; creating opportunities for health improvement; building stronger better connected communities; and protecting and enhancing wildlife and the environment, through provision of accessible quality greenspace.
